Bayside City RP Admin

This role is meant to assist and lead the city’s role play – helping visitors understand how to dive in, creating engaging role play events and rp triggers, assisting with groups/roles in RP groups, etc.

Events Manager

This position will focus primarily on The Monarchy but also assist the Bayside RP Admin in planning larger events. You will organize event themes, book DJs, Hosts and communicate event details with the staff each month.

Social Media Manager

You will manage the social pages for Bayside City & The Monarchy to create engaging content and interact with viewers/followers, forwarding any inquiries to the appropriate manager and capturing photos/videos to post.

Monarchy Training Manager

You will lead a training class once a month to meet with applicants, guide them through training and provide coaching on the job. You must have experience as a dancer/escort in Second Life to qualify.

We’re hiring a role play Admin!  We’re looking for a self motivated, responsible, creative person who can bring their ideas to life, execute the ideas of sim managers, interact with the community and respond to role play related inquiries.

You should be extremely comfortable making decisions, creating a system that works best for you, able to prioritize your work and report to the management group weekly.  You may occasionally work with a social media manager and events manager often, so you should be comfortable working with others.

Job Description

• Managing role play groups and assigning roles when appropriate
• Setting city events and communicating them with the group
• Scheduling daily group updates
• Moderating all role play groups
• Helping city visitors and residents know about events, businesses, meet ups happening
• Assisting with social media
• Planning events to push role play
• Assist with website updates (events/news posts) when necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a strong understanding of WordPress, Facebook, Instagram. (If you do not but are interested, it is strongly recommended you make accounts, follow any available tutorials and acquaint yourself with these tools. There will be no training on how to use any of these tools.)
  • Must be a team player, who can lead while keeping this a pleasant experience for other role players and self motivated enough to accomplish tasks without reminders.
  • Must be available to set some sort of role play event at least once a week and assist
  • Should be creative and come with ideas
  • Will need to have a Discord account
  • Experience with Smartbots is preffered but not required.
  • Must have a strong understanding of role play
  • Must be at least 6 months old in Second Life
  • Must be 18+

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating events on the SecondLife.com website
  • Experiencing administering Second Life groups, sending notices and participating in chat
  • Experience with Smartbots is preffered but not required, training will be provided for Smartbots use
  • Experience as a sim or role play manager preferred but not required
  • Management Experience Preferred

This is not a supporting/assistant position.  You will be supporting the Vanderbuilt companies overall, with a strong emphasis on The Monarchy.  So, you should be extremely comfortable making decisions, creating a system that works best for you, able to prioritize your work and report to the management group weekly.  You will be working with an existing events manager so you should be comfortable working with others.

Description

As the events manager you will be completely responsible for daily, weekly and special events at the club and occasional event posting for Bayside City.

  • You will be responsible for the weekly line up and posting daily events to secondlife.com You will also be responsible for making any changes you see fit to the line up.
  • You would be responsible for conceptualizing and executing special events, at least monthly. This can include – seeking help from other staff to plan; deciding on themes, dress code, location; securing DJs and hosts when necessary; deciding on contests and submitting a budget for prizes, DJs, hosts and decor needed; creating communication to send to VIP group; creating communication for advertisements; creating posters; creating communication to send to dance group; creating any communication needed at the actual event

Required Qualifications

  • You should be familiar with setting events on secondlife.com
  • You should be familiar with setting events on Facebook and making posts to our page
  • You will need to have a SL facebook account
  • You should be familiar with posting to flickr and instagram when needed (to our accounts)
  • You should be familiar with posting to SL forums
  • You should be very organized, set and deliver on deadlines and have the ability to report to the management group.
  • You should be consistently meeting your current requirements if you work as a dancer/escort at The Monarchy
  • You must have an ability to prioritize your work and set a schedule that works best for you so you can also successfully perform as a playmate/Vixen if you currently work at The Monarchy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience posting to WordPress
  • You should have contact for professional DJs & Hosts with sizable followings.
  • You should be creative!
  • You absolutely must be a self starter that can execute events, set appropriate deadlines and make deadlines.
  • Must have a premium Second Life account (premium accounts have more flexibility when it comes to event posting)

We are looking for someone with strong social media skills, photo and video skills to assist with our Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter. You will be supporting the Vanderbuilt companies overall, with a strong emphasis on The Monarchy.

Description

As the social media manager, you will be responsible for getting new exciting and enticing images of girls who work in the club on a weekly basis to share across social media to help promote sets, daily events or special events happening in the club.  You will also be responsible for sharing resident/guest/visitor photos in Bayside City to our social pages.

  • You’ll coordinate with the events manager to ensure club events are posted about on social media
  • You’ll coordinate with the Bayside City Role Play Admin to ensure regular posts are made about things happening in the city
  • You’ll regularly update social channels to assist with growth and visibility

Required Qualifications

  • You should be extremely familiar with Instagram, Facebook, Flickr and Twitter and posting to each platform
  • You should be able to take high quality images – include links to samples on your application. 
  • You should be able to organize daily posts via scheduling tools.
  • You should be consistently meeting your requirements if you plan to work as a dancer/escort at The Monarchy
  • You must have an ability to prioritize your work and set a schedule that works best for you so you can also successfully perform as a Playmate/Vixen if you are currently on staff.

Along with general training expertise and an extremely strong understanding of Monarchy procedures, you should also be a strong employee that is able to share that knowledge with new hires and have the availability to train them, assess their testing and performance and work alongside them.

Description

As the training manager, you will be responsible for training one training class per month. This includes approximately 4 hours of in class, live training time over the course of 2 days. You will also be grading assessments and evaluating emoting tests during that period. From there, you are expected to be available for several shadow sessions throughout the week to work in club with the new trainees, monitor their performance, assess and share feedback, be on call for questions, potentially check chatlogs for services with clients, ensure rules, appearance and general customs are correct. You will be responsible for providing website login information, confirming whether or not trainees are able to login and contacting amyalka when not. You will introduce them to both the training website and TheMonarchySL.com and instruct them how to update their profile. At the conclusion of training, you should be prepared to share your notes with management and making recommendations for employment. You should also be a reliable resource to answer questions in dance group or our staff discord when available.

Requirements

  • You should be consistently meeting your requirements if you plan to work as a dancer/escort at The Monarchy
  • You must have an ability to prioritize your work and set a schedule that works best for you so you can also successfully perform as a playmate/Vixen if you are currently on staff.
  • You should be strong at facilitating training sessions, experience preferred. Voice preferred.
  • You should have gone through a live training class
  • You should be familiar with posting to SL forums

TIPS ON GETTING THE JOB

What to Expect

Application Process

We are collecting applications until June 12th.  This allows us to make sure we’re able to review all applicants prior to hiring.

After June 12th, applications will be reviewed and applicants will be contacted in world via notecard.  If we are not moving forward with your application, we will give as detailed of a response as possible.

If we would like to move forward, we will ask your availability to meet if you are still interested and an interview will be scheduled.

Interview Process

The interview will take approximately 15 minutes to an hour.  You may be sent a notecard with a few questions to answer prior to the interview.  Please bring any questions you may have to your interview.

Once the interview has concluded, you will receive a follow up on our decision.

It is very unlikely, but if you are hired at the time of your interview, depending on availability you may receive onboarding/training details to begin.

Training/Onboarding

We will attempt to schedule a time/day to onboard you live to provide training and explain processes/procedures.

If schedules are not compatible, you will receive this information via text either in world, via web training or Discord.

Compensation

Each position has a salary range. All positions are paid weekly.  We will ask you your weekly salary preferences. Please be prepared to answer this question, you will be required to answer it.

FAQs

When will I receive a response to my application?

Applications are responded to in the order in which they were received.  We cannot currently give a timeframe. All applicants will receive a response and interviews will be scheduled once we close applications.

When will I be interviewed?

If your application qualifies, we will contact for your availability for an interview once we have closed applications.

Who will conduct my interview?

You will be interview by me (Meela) or our hiring manager Arlenis.

Will I receive a response if I am rejected?

Yes. We will provide as many details as possible.  Due to the quantity of applications we received, we cannot allocate any additional time to explain rejections. If the application is not filled out in its entirety or correctly, the application may be automatically rejected.

Can I reapply if rejected?

Yes, if applications are still open and any necessary modifications are made to the application.

Do I need to work at The Monarchy to apply?

No, all of the positions are open to Monarchy staff and the public.

Do I need to live in Bayside to apply for the RP Admin position?

No, however we will prefer applicants who spend time in Bayside and attend to spend time in Bayside. If you have never visited, we strongly recommend you visit and acquaint yourself with the city prior to applying.

How much Second Life work experience do I need?

Technically none but you should be able to detail your RL expertise and exhibit how it will aid in this position.  You will also need to understand how to do all required qualifications.

How many hours am I required to work each week?

This is your decision. You will be expected to get specific work done each week.  You will determine how much time you need.  You will be required to meet with the rest of management, typically once a week.

What schedule will I have?

You will determine your schedule, set any necessary meetings for yourself and communicate your availability with the rest of the management team.
